MFMac strengthens Energy & Renewables offering with the appointment of a new Partner

MFMac is delighted to announce that Shaz Khalid has joined the firm as a Partner within their Corporate & Commercial Division to further strengthen the firm’s energy and renewables offering.

Shaz brings over 15 years of experience advising on high-value and complex projects across the energy and renewables sector. His most recent role was Head of Legal for SSE Renewables’ Business Development function, where he led a legal team on strategic international M&A opportunities, joint ventures and route to market solutions.

Energy and renewables is a key growth sector for MFMac and Shaz's appointment further strengthens MFMac’s ability to deliver exceptional support to clients operating in this space. His deep sector knowledge, combined with extensive relationships built in both private practice and in-house roles, positions him as a trusted advisor to businesses navigating the complexities of the energy transition.
