Our approach

The team investigated the circumstances surrounding the incident and raised a fatal accident claim against both the employer and the owners of a dangerous work site. Throughout the case, MFMac provided clear and strategic advice, including recommending that the family reject five previous offers that did not properly reflect their loss. When settlement could not be reached, the team prepared the case for proof and began presenting it before the court.
The outcome
Once the case began to be heard by the judge, the employers accepted the correct level of compensation for the entire family. By standing firm and rejecting inadequate offers, Mark and his family ultimately received the outcome they were entitled to. Mark felt justice had been done and that the family had been vindicated.
