Carole is a Consultant in our Private Client team.

Carole has specialised in private client work for over 30 years, advising on all aspects of executry administration, trusts, and inheritance planning. She is regularly appointed as a trustee, guardian, and adviser to individuals, families, trusts, charities, and family businesses, with particular expertise in trust arrangements for vulnerable beneficiaries.

Her practice includes advising on inheritance claims, family conflict, and long-term care planning, as well as Powers of Attorney, guardianships, and the affairs of the elderly. Carole is known for her proactive, compassionate approach and is frequently consulted by other professionals for her insight.

She has significant experience in asset protection, guiding clients from Will drafting through to tax-efficient estate planning. Her advice is sought by solicitors, financial advisers, and accountants across Scotland and beyond.

Carole is a full member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP), the leading global body for inheritance and succession planning professionals. She is also a Notary Public and was recognised as a Leader in the Field for Private Wealth Law in the 2024 edition of Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession.
