Denise is a Senior Paralegal in our Private Client team.
As part of our Later Life team, Denise provides trusted, one-to-one support to clients and their families navigating the practical complexities of elder care, long-term care planning, and residential transitions. She helps clients remain in their own homes where possible, or coordinates moves into care settings—from house clearance to property sales.
Denise supports clients and advisers with the day-to-day management of later life needs, including sourcing home adaptations, arranging befriending services, and assisting with access to Government Benefits. Her role is especially valued by families managing the affairs of elderly relatives, where discretion, empathy, and continuity of care are essential.
Caring for the Elderly
This week (13 to 17 June) is Loneliness Awareness Week hosted by the Marmalade Trust. Everyone can experience loneliness, and this has never been more apparent than after the uncertainty many have experienced in the past two years as a result of the global pandemic. The aim of the campaign is to get people talking and to reduce the stigma, which can be associated with admitting you are lonely.
