Lisa acts for lenders and borrowers on a wide range of corporate and commercial banking matters.
She has extensive experience in banking transactional work, including corporate banking, real estate finance, development finance, asset-based lending, funds finance and loan book sales.
She has acted for banks, financial institutions and borrowers on a number of highly complex and high-profile acquisition finance and debt restructuring transactions involving inter-creditor arrangements and borrowers with a variety of asset classes and diverse property portfolios including shopping centres, industrial estates, hotels and healthcare facilities. She is also engaged on the Scottish aspects of cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions and has experience of advising challenger banks, bridging lenders and new entrants to the Scottish lending market on a full range of finance matters, including real estate and development finance.
Her practice extends to all manner of non-transactional work, including drafting Scottish standard form loan and security documentation and providing advice on other finance-related matters. Lisa also has experience acting for lenders and special servicers in relation to distressed debt and enforcement of security.
Lisa is ranked as a Leader in the Field for Banking & Finance in the 2024 edition of Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession.
