Maeve is an Associate in our Private Client team, advising a wide range of clients on succession planning, the preparation of tax-efficient Wills and Powers of Attorney, and the administration of trusts and estates. She has a particular focus on Personal Injury Trusts, and regularly works with settlors and trustees to ensure these are structured and managed effectively.
She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a globally recognised body for professionals in inheritance and succession planning, and is also a Notary Public. Maeve also volunteers as a solicitor with the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic and the University of Edinburgh Free Legal Advice Centre.
Fluent in Spanish, Maeve holds a Master’s degree in Mediation, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, which she completed following her qualification as a solicitor.
