Bonar advises clients including early-stage businesses, SMEs, investors and large corporates. In 2023, he spent 9 months on secondment to a FSTE100 energy company.
Bonar has delivered high value and complex transactions. He has worked on deals in numerous sectors of the economy, with particular experience in healthcare (notably pharmacy), financial services and renewable energy. He is the co-lead of the firm wide Energy & Renewables group.
Additionally, Bonar’s work contributed to the firm winning Corporate & Commercial Team of the Year at the Scottish Legal Awards 2020 and being Highly Commended for M&A Team of the Year (Mid-Sized Deal) at the British Legal Awards 2019.
