Calum Chrystal

Trainee Solicitor

Calum is a trainee solicitor at MFMac and supports colleagues and clients on a wide range of legal matters. Through his traineeship, he has gained experience working with businesses and organisations across a variety of sectors, developing a strong understanding of the legal and commercial issues that affect them.

He assists with legal research, due diligence, drafting and reviewing documents, transactional support and project-based matters. Through exposure to corporate, commercial, property and dispute-related work, he has developed an appreciation of both the opportunities and risks organisations face. His experience supporting commercial disputes has also given him valuable insight into the practical consequences of contractual and business disagreements, informing his understanding of legal issues from both a transactional and dispute-resolution perspective.

Calum is known for his collaborative approach, attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly and effectively. He enjoys working closely with colleagues and clients to help deliver practical solutions while continuing to develop his legal knowledge and skills.

Alongside his client work, Calum is actively involved in the firm's Media, Manufacturing and Technology and Healthcare and Lifesciences sectors, and regularly attends industry events to build relationships and develop his understanding of the sectors in which the firm's clients operate.
