Camilla is an Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team.
Camilla has experience in a wide range of civil litigation matters and her clients include private companies, public bodies and insurance companies. Her key focus is on debt recovery and contractual disputes.
Camilla also has extensive experience in acting for large insurance companies, local authorities and private companies in defending personal injury claims with a focus on employer’s liability, public liability and occupier’s liability actions. She has also acted for clients in respect of professional negligence claims and property damage claims.
Camilla has acted for clients in high value Court of Session actions, including actions involving allegations of historical child abuse.

            The Contract (Formation and Remedies) (Scotland) Bill updates Scots law by clarifying how contracts are formed and modernising remedies for breach. It replaces the postal rule with a “received” rule for acceptances, introduces clearer rules on rescission and mutuality and allows contributory negligence as a defence. The Bill is a default framework, not mandatory and is still at Stage 1.
