Ellie McLauchlan

She has developed experience advising on construction contracts and helping clients manage the legal and commercial aspects of development and infrastructure projects.

Ellie regularly advises on the Scottish Building Contract Committee (SBCC) suite of contracts and has experience drafting and negotiating bespoke professional appointments and collateral warranties for projects across Scotland. She also has experience working with NEC, FIDIC and ICC forms of contract.

She has worked with clients across both the public and private sectors, including real estate developers, local authorities, funders, purchasers and tenants.

Ellie enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues and clients to deliver practical solutions and support the successful delivery of projects. She is committed to developing her expertise in construction law and helping clients navigate complex contractual arrangements with confidence.
