Gwen advises on procurement law and compliance and has experience of working across various sectors including health and social care, education and environment.
She acted in the procurement of a new mental health counselling service for children and young people.
She also has experience of local authority structure and governance. Gwen also advises on contractual matters ranging from contract drafting to non-contentious disputes.
Gwen also has experience in competition law and has worked in Brussels.
Following a somewhat turbulent time for health and social care reform, the Care Reform (Scotland) Act 2025 received Royal Assent on 22 July 2025. This follows the scaling back of the plan to create a new National Care Service in Scotland under the National Care Service Bill.
