AssociateJudith is an Associate in our Planning and Real Estate Litigation team.
Judith advises businesses, public sector bodies, charities and individuals on a wide range of property litigation and planning matters, supporting clients through all stages of the dispute resolution process.
She regularly works with organisations across the real estate, public sector and energy and renewables sectors, advising on matters that can have significant operational, commercial and reputational implications. Judith takes a practical, solutions-focused approach, helping clients understand their options, manage risk and achieve the best possible outcome.
Judith has experience in the Sheriff Courts, the Court of Session, the Lands Tribunal for Scotland, the Scottish Land Court and at Public Inquiries.
Judith is also a Notary Public and Co-Chair of the Junior Property Litigation Association Scotland. She is a member of Women in Planning, the Property Litigation Association and Women in Property.
Labour's pledge to planning reform and 1.5 million new houses
Following their success in the General Election earlier this month, Labour put tackling the planning system, and in turn, the housing crisis, at the centre of their bid to drive economic growth. Their manifesto had pledged to deliver 1.5 million new houses over the course of their term.
