Katie is an Associate in our Corporate & Commercial team. She advises clients on intellectual property, commercial contracts and technology matters, with particular experience in the media, creative industries and food and drink sectors.

Katie advises clients on the protection and commercialisation of intellectual property rights, including complex intellectual property ownership and licensing structures. She also advises on a wide variety of commercial contracts, including manufacturing, distribution, supply, reseller, software and IT agreements. In addition, she regularly supports mergers and acquisitions transactions from an intellectual property and commercial perspective.

Katie is experienced in advising on intricate intellectual property ownership and licensing arrangements, complex contractual structures and strategically important commercial transactions.

Clients and colleagues value Katie's attention to detail, clear and consistent communication and her ability to distil complex legal advice into concise and easy to understand guidance.

Katie has a particular interest in the media, creative industries, technology, manufacturing and food and drink sectors. Her involvement in the media sector includes hosting the Backstage: Film & TV Leadership event in June 2026. She was also recently recognised as an IP Star by Managing IP in recognition of her expertise in intellectual property matters.
