Maya specialises in contentious construction matters and advises both public and private sector clients on a wide range of construction disputes.
Maya has experience handling large-scale construction disputes in the Court of Session and regularly represents clients in adjudications. She also acts for a number of clients to explore means of resolving disputes prior to them reaching the stage of formal proceedings.
Beyond her case load, Maya is an active member of the Astra Committee for the Society of Construction Law, reflecting her commitment to the development of the construction law profession. She also contributes to MFMac’s Environmental Committee and LGBTQIA+ Committee, supporting the firm’s sustainability and inclusion initiatives.
