Leading independent Scottish law firm MFMac has further strengthened its position as Scotland’s most accredited employment law team, after two more of its lawyers were recognised as employment law specialists by the Law Society of Scotland.
Senior Associates Meghan Jenkins and Fiona Meek recently secured the accreditation, bringing the total number of accredited specialists within MFMac’s Employment team to ten – more than any other employment law practice in Scotland.
The Law Society of Scotland accreditation scheme recognises solicitors who have an outstanding level of expertise and depth of knowledge within their chosen area.
The firm has also recently strengthened its specialist credentials in other practice areas. Pavan Sumal, a Senior Associate in MFMac’s Immigration team, was recently accredited as a specialist in immigration law, further demonstrating the firm’s breadth of recognised expertise.
Innes Clark, Head of Employment Law at MFMac, said: “We are incredibly proud of our Employment Team’s achievements. Recognition by the Law Society of Scotland reflects the depth of knowledge within our team, and it’s fantastic to see the number of accredited specialists at MFMac continue to grow. As employment law continues to evolve, this recognition demonstrates our commitment to delivering specialist advice to our clients on increasingly complex employment matters.”
MFMac’s Employment Law team works with some of the best-known employers across Scotland, as well as advising a wide range of SMEs and employees, particularly senior executives. The team is ranked in Chambers UK and Legal 500 as one of the best in Scotland, and was recently commended by The Times in its Best Law Firms Guide.
