The Safe System Approach is a global model for road safety that recognises human error and vulnerability, aiming to prevent fatal or serious injuries through safer roads, vehicles, speeds, behaviours and post-crash care. Scotland has adopted this framework to reach zero road deaths by 2050 and MFMac supports this goal through trauma-informed legal advice as part of Brake’s Scottish legal panel.
