Alan is Head of MFMac's Corporate & Commercial division and a Partner in the Corporate team. He has more than 20 years' experience advising clients on corporate law matters.
He supports clients at every stage of the business lifecycle, from growth and investment through to acquisitions, disposals and exit planning.
Alan advises on a broad range of corporate law matters, with a particular focus on transactional work. His experience includes share purchases and sales, business acquisitions and disposals, equity investments, group reorganisations and general corporate advisory work. He regularly acts for corporate entities acquiring businesses and for shareholders selling and exiting their businesses.
He advises a wide range of corporate clients, including businesses pursuing buy-and-build growth strategies and shareholders navigating significant transactions. While his practice spans a variety of sectors, he has particular experience acting for clients in the healthcare and technology sectors. His role as Head of Corporate & Commercial also gives him exposure to a diverse range of industries and complex transactions.
Alan is known for delivering clear, commercially focused advice that helps clients achieve their objectives efficiently and effectively. He combines technical expertise with a pragmatic approach, providing practical guidance throughout the course of a transaction.
