Legal DirectorChris is a Legal Director in the Real Estate team, specialising in transactional commercial real estate.
He advises on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, landlord and tenant matters, development, funding, real estate elements of M&A activity, and cross-border transactions.
Chris has particular experience in high-value property investment acquisitions and disposals, occupational leasing, asset management and real estate funding, primarily acting for borrowers. He also supports other law firms on multi-jurisdictional transactions where Scottish real estate input is required.
He acts for landlords, tenants, investors, operators, occupiers and borrowers, working with clients locally and nationally. His sector experience spans retail, industrial and office property, with an additional current focus on EV charge point leasing, acting for both operators and landlords.
Chris takes a responsive, commercial and pragmatic approach. He is willing to provide a clear opinion and practical guidance and makes himself available to help clients navigate transactions effectively.
