Daniel Cormack is a Solicitor in our Employment team. He advises employers and employees on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, providing practical and commercially focused advice across a broad spectrum of workplace issues.

Daniel's work includes day-to-day employment law advisory support, advising on and negotiating settlement agreements, and drafting a variety of employment law documentation. He also represents employers and employees in Employment Tribunal proceedings throughout the UK and has experience acting in a wide range of employment claims, including discrimination and whistleblowing matters.

Daniel works with individuals, large private sector employers and SMEs. He takes the time to understand each client's circumstances and delivers clear, practical advice tailored to their objectives.

Clients and colleagues value Daniel's care and attention to detail, plain English approach and commitment to keeping clients informed throughout a matter. He is known for the thoroughness and efficiency of his work, together with his calm and patient manner.

Daniel is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and serves on its Pastoral Committee. He is also a mentor for the LawScot Foundation and Aspiring Solicitors. As a member of MFMac's Social Mobility Employee Resource Group, he regularly contributes to initiatives aimed at widening access to the legal profession, including preparing and presenting sessions for PRIME students.
