Mark advises individuals and families on a wide range of family law matters, helping clients navigate some of life's most complex and sensitive situations with practical, clear and strategic advice.

Mark regularly supports clients in relation to separation and divorce, cohabitation disputes, separation agreements, and child contact and residence matters. He has particular experience in cases with an international dimension, including parental child abduction cases, and has been involved in some of Scotland's most notable matters in this area.

His clients include high-net-worth individuals, business professionals, foreign nationals and local authorities. He understands that family disputes often involve both significant personal and financial considerations, and works closely with clients and other advisers to achieve outcomes that reflect his client's priorities and long-term objectives.

Mark has experience representing clients in sheriff courts across Scotland and regularly works alongside junior/senior counsel in complex family law disputes before both the Inner and Outer Houses of the Court of Session.

Known for his supportive and efficient approach, Mark focuses on finding practical solutions tailored to each client's circumstances. He is committed to providing reassurance and guidance throughout the legal process, helping clients move forward with confidence during what can often be challenging periods in their lives.
