Leading independent law firm Morton Fraser MacRoberts (MFMac) has appointed Kamal Panglea as its new Chief People Officer, further strengthening the firm's leadership team as it continues to invest in its people strategy.
Kamal joins MFMac with over 25 years' experience in HR, having held senior positions across a number of jurisdictions. Most recently, he served as People Director for Audit & Assurance at Deloitte Middle East, based in Dubai, where he was responsible for twelve countries across the region, alongside additional responsibilities spanning EMEA.
Prior to this, Kamal worked for the government of Saudi Arabia and spent twelve years at Lloyds Banking Group, based in Edinburgh and London. During his time there, he held a range of roles across Centres of Excellence and business partnering, building broad experience in supporting large, complex organisations through change and growth. He holds a BA (Hons) and an MA in International Political Economy from the University of Leeds, as well as an MBA from the University of Warwick.
Kamal's appointment reflects MFMac's continued focus on developing a culture that both supports its people, drives performance and enhances the experience it delivers to clients.
