Employment Rights Act Update (Part 2): New harassment protection duties and equality action plans

Our October essential employment law webinar took a closer look at the new and amended duties to prevent harassment at work. Both the extended duty to take all reasonable steps to prevent workplace sexual harassment and the introduction of liability for third party harassment come into force on 30 October. We also looked at how larger employers can prepare now for the introduction of mandatory equality action plans. We discussed:

  • The current duty to prevent sexual harassment and the practical impact of the change to "all" reasonable steps

  • What employers need to do to comply and what guidance is available

  • Liability for third party harassment and how to mitigate risk

  • Preparing for mandatory equality action plans

This webinar is applicable to the law of Scotland, England, and Wales.
